Study of a work of art in the atrium of a public/state school building in Italy. This work of art is made up of eight aluminium elements cast together and representing penguins.
The height and length of the figures is between 100-115 cm.
The architectural position with windows looking onto the atrium, quite a narrow and high space, reminds one of swimming pools, aquariums in zoos.
The artistic intervention/this work of art transforms the ethereal space into a large marine habitat where penguins swim and dive creating a surreal element.
